About TCB Food Processing, LLC
Taking Care of Business (TCB) Food Processing is owned by President Beatriz (Beti) Schrom. Beti is an immigrant who came to this country looking to improve her life, have a family, and fulfill her dream of becoming a successful American business woman. She is continually working on her education to broaden her horizons and is dedicated to helping her community.
Beti's husband, Michael Schrom, helps with outside sales and management. In July 2012, TCB Food Processing started up in the Can-Do Kitchen and The Starting Block, making jar after jar of asparagus salsa and asparagus guacamole. The two commercial kitchen incubators allowed TCB to test and license its product with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and FDA, produce large amounts of product in preparation for supplying Michigan markets, and work on building their own production facility.
TCB Food Processing now produces in their own facility in Lawrence, Michigan. In addition, TCB does private label co-packing for other companies and has added several new products to their production line.
